Very impressive! This is an incredible restaurant offering unique flavor combinations for the oysters — raw and cooked oysters available! I LOVED all 3 that I tried: Saffron oysters, Southern oysters rock and sushi oysters. The sushi oysters were my favorite, though, with wasabi and ginger. The small plates are equally pleasing — the pimento cheese board and crab dip are delicious. The pimento cheese is covered in bacon! The house-made pita chips are wonderfully crispy and melt in your mouth. This restaurant is a gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Their food was amazing! Loved the view of the water and the drinks were delicious. I recommend the Key Lime Colada if you like creamy drinks! They have a variety of different oyster dishes to choose from. I tried the Saffron Oysters with bread crumbs on top and they were delicious. For dinner I had their Scallops and it was amazing!

I'm sorry, but this is hands-down one of the best restaurants in North Carolina. I'm from the Deep South, so I know a thing or two about fresh and delicious food...I beg that you trust my judgment! The food is delicious and fresh. The staff is wonderful and crazy courteous. The ambience and views are nice and cozy. I went two nights in a row as I was amazingly impressed by the food, drinks and home-grown atmosphere of this spot. Keep it up Edenton Oyster bar!

This restaurant is small but cute. We sat outside on the wooden porch. It has about six tables. It overlooks the water. They have umbrellas for the tables. There are also bug lanterns that light. Our waitress was very friendly and informative. We ordered oysters in every form that they came in. All were superb. We also had the fried oyster spinach salad. Very tasty and great tasting vinaigrette dressing. We thoroughly enjoyed the company sitting on the porch. There was a couple there celebrating their 40th anniversary. It was a fun conversation. We did have drinks and they have a very comprehensive drink menu. We didn't have dessert because we had bought some treats at the local bakery in town. I definitely recommend checking it out and eating there. The menu is not extensive, but there's a good mix of food.

I thought it was great!! The food was excellent and our waitress was lovely. Everything was really tasty! We had the tuna lettuce wraps, saffron oysters, the maple salmon, and the scallops (the included chowder also really flavorful) and top to bottom no lack luster dishes. No complaints at all.

Miles was our waiter and he was excellent. We had oysters and fish tacos, delicious! It's not a fancy place but one that I will definitely return to. It was also nice to walk around the marina after we had dinner.

Call at 3pm to make reservations! I am so glad we got the tip to call since there isn’t an option online. Since we have a child, we booked for 5:30 at opening and reservations were full until 8, they accepted walk ins for the bar and people were waiting to get in. The food did take a while to come out (which is not indicative to service yall! They are separate! Our server was lovely and kind), but we have noticed that with most restaurants in Edenton. BUT, as a chef myself I can tell you the food was AMAZING. I was speechless. We ordered the Southern Oysters Rock, which I could have eaten a dozen myself. I had the scallops that were seared to perfection and so delicate, came with risotto and spinach and got wedge salad. My husband had the ribeye and they were more than happy to leave the red wine sauce off (he does not do any alcohol), came with broccolini, potatoes and he chose the chowder, which he said was super flavorful, and my son had the kids Mac and Cheese which he ate every bit of. So bottom line, make a reservation, don’t be in a rush and enjoy some delicious food.
